Beautiful film actress Gopika is planning to leave Movie Industry because of her Marriage. Gopika is going to get marry a NRI, Dr. Ajilesh who is settled in London. Their engagement took place on May 22, 2008. The wedding will be on July 17, 2008 at Kothamangalam, Kerala State.

Gopika was a Malayalam Actress who was born in Kerala. After completion of 10th Standard she did Sociology from Calicut University. She was also a good model girl while she was a college girl. Her ambition was to become an Airhostess but she reached Film industry. She is perfect for homely roles. She is not interested in acting in Glamorous Roles. Her super hit movie is Four the People, who danced to the songs of ‘Lajjavathiye‘ and stole the movie lovers hearts.

Cheran introduced her to Tamil through Autograph and it became a huge hit.
After that she acted in Kana Kandean with actor Srikanth, Emmagan with Bharath, Thotti Jaya with Simbu, Aran with Jeeva, Veerrappu with Sundar C, Vellithirai with Prithviraj and so many films. Gopika acted in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada movies.

Her Malayalam film Veruthe Oru Bharya with actor Jayaram would be the last movie of Gopika as heroine releasing before her marriage. Her last release in Tamil was ‘Vellithirai’. She refused to act in movies after her marriage.
